The Junior Coder classes inspire students aged 9 to 11 to create and innovate, as they build a solid foundation for their programming skills. Here, they get an advantage in today’s digital world by acquiring more advanced concepts and skills.
This course is designed to build on the students’ visual programming skills. Using Scratch, a creative platform developed by the MIT Media Lab, students will be challenged to upgrade their skills as they learn how to develop a platform scrolling game. Students will also learn to code using physics, velocity, and gravity.
